Collaboration policy
We are responsible for the experiences that happen in our home. As much as we are excited to welcome diversity and different perspectives, we also do not want to encourage things that do not align to our sustainability values and/or are dangerous for our guests.
For these reasons, we have a collaboration policy for spaceholders and facilitators and we talk to each of them personally to get to know them. We do our best to make sure that our guests will be cared for and guided in the best way.
The things we have a zero tolerance policy for in the play:space home:
- Discrimination and extremism in any form (sexism, nationalism, xenophobia, homophobia etc)
- Psychologically and emotionally toxic approaches (victim blaming, toxic psychological or spiritual approaches, rigid gender norms, narcissism, explicitly anti-science approaches and climate change denialism etc)
- Collaborations with unsustainable businesses for profit, misleading marketing and greenwashing of any kind
If you are new to play:space and wish to facilitate events or 1-to-1 sessions here, please be aware that we will go through a short initial conversation either face-to-face or via video. This is a necessary step to make sure that what we invite in the home and community is aligned with the vision and values we dedicate our time and care to.
